Finding the balance between what you need to and want to do, isn’t always easy. Where some people gain satisfaction from the idea that their habits guarantee longevity, plenty have trouble even forming a healthy one. They often know very well that their habits don’t contribute to a quality lifespan, but wrongfully think they aren’t allowed to do anything anymore when they choose to make a change.

Hi, I’m Tomas

My mission with Psyche & Physique Lifestyle Coaching is to help you find the balance between having to and wanting to. You’ll become aware of what this balance can look like through personal coaching on training, nutrition, lifestyle, and mental well-being. We’ll also focus on the mental aspect of changing behavior and the obstacles that may manifest. You shouldn’t have to let go of something that brings you joy, however, it’s important to realize what needs to be done in return. Creating balance is essential, and you’ll become physically and mentally stronger in the process. Through learning basic principles of training and nutrition, you’ll become capable of maintaining the balance yourself and hopefully, be able to gain satisfaction from creating and maintaining healthy habits.

I know what it’s like to be your own worst enemy. I learned the hard way that forcing yourself onto a path that doesn’t suit you, will only lead you to a dark place. When I dropped out of college, it felt like I had to start over completely. When I became a father a few years later, the balance I had created was disrupted. I needed to find it again however, making sure my child lives the best life possible didn’t leave lots of time for things I wanted to do. I prioritized what was truly essential to do for my mental health and as I see him grow into a wonderful human being, I’m glad I made that decision.

Life is constantly changing and what balance looks like won’t stay the same. Best to know how to find it, so you’re ready for whatever life throws at you.

The Pillars of Psyche & Physique

  • Personal Training

When training by yourself, you depend on other gymgoers to recognize and tell you when you’re doing something wrong, and relying on the internet to figure it out, can leave you more confused than before.

With personal training, you can be sure someone’s there to help you perform exercises optimally to prevent injury and ensure longevity, while also pushing you to give it your all.

  • Personal Coaching

Change is difficult and habits die hard, even if we know that it will lead to something great. One bad day can break a streak and a week will undo all the hard work. At least, that’s what it feels like.

When that happens, you want someone in your corner who doesn’t judge but helps you stay on course. Aiming to understand the reason behind certain behavior to better help you make the change.

  • Goal-oriented Periodization

Coming to the gym without a plan is a path to stagnation and always doing the same thing without results, will make training dull. Constantly switching approaches may keep things fresh, but significant results won’t come.

A periodization built around your goals adds structure to your training, offers exercise variation, and guarantees consistent progress by making adjustments based on your feedback and results.

  • Nutritional Guidance

Knowing what to eat, when to eat it, and how much you’re allowed to eat, can be a daunting puzzle. Telling yourself you can’t have something only makes you crave it more and makes sticking to it much harder.

By teaching you nutritional principles and how to use intuïtive eating, you can move away from restrictive meal plans and make weight control a successful and sustainable process.
